I call my style of tattooing "Afro-Americana" When I started my apprenticeship, I loved Traditional, but hated the lack of black representation within the style. So I decided to create a style visually based in traditional with an emphasis on black people, black culture, and black history. I just want the tattoo industry to grow as diverse culturally as it has visually.
